Solenoid valve merupakan komponen elektronik yang sangat penting pada Water Heater tipe gas (LPG) yang memiliki fungsi membuka atau menutup aliran supply gas LPG. Jika water heater tidak bisa menyala walaupun sudah ada percikan api dari busi pemantik, bisa jadi solenoid valve tidak bekerja sehingga tidak bisa membuka aliran gas LPG untuk memulai proses pembakaran.

Test method: test the solenoid valve separately, remove the spring or compress the piston back by 1CM, take two No. 1 1.5V dry batteries and stack them into a 3V voltage, connect the black wire to the negative pole, and the yellow wire (the blue wire in Wanhe) to the positive pole. After fixing it, touch the red wire (yellow wire in Wanhe) to the positive electrode. The red wire will be disconnected immediately after the solenoid valve is closed. It is normal if it can be closed normally. If it is not closed or it pops up immediately after being closed, it will be abnormal.

Maintenance principle: if the solenoid valve is damaged, the air circuit will be cut off and the ignition will not catch fire, which is manifested as a "click" sound without the solenoid valve closing after boiling water. Should focus on checking the pressure reducing valve, water control switch, solenoid valve, controller, battery box, dry battery
