The MCU-219 Module Is a Zero-Drift, Bidirectional Current/Power Monitoring Integrated Circuit (Ic) With An i2c Interface That Further Strengthens Ti's Energy-Efficient Electronics Portfolio. The In-Industry Degree And Small Size Of The INA219 Not Only Monitors The Voltage Drop On The Shunt Resistor, Senses The Shunt Supply Voltage, But Also Calculates The Power Supply. Available In An Sot23 Package, The Device Provides a Small, Low-Cost Solution For Digital Current Sensing For Servers, Notebook Computers, Power Supplies, Battery Management, And Automotive And Telecom Equipment.
The INA219 Achieves 1% Error Accuracy Over a Temperature Range Of -40c To +85c With An Offset Of 100 Uv. The High Accuracy Combined With The Benefits Of 12-Bit Resolution Helps Customers Minimize Voltage Drops On Shunt Resistors, Minimizing Power Loss And Power Dissipation And Saving Board-Level Space. The Device Can Sense Bus Voltages From 0 v To +26 v.
