Description:
The VIPer12A combines a dedicated current modePWM controller with a high voltage Power MOSFET on the same silicon chip. Typicalapplications cover off line power supplies forbattery charger adapters, standby power suppliesfor TV or monitors, auxiliary supplies for motorcontrol, etc. The internal control circuit offers thefollowing benefits:
Large input voltage range on the VDD pinaccommodates changes in auxiliary supplyvoltage. This feature is well adapted to batterycharger adapter configurations.
Automatic burst mode in low load condition.
